Tampa meetup

Starting a new thread, separate from the Orlando group.

We have a few in Tampa discussing a near-term meetup. Probably would be looking sometime in August, before football season kicks into full gear :) Let's see what we can do!

I will be leaving on vacation on 8/21. So sometime in early August would be great. Tues-Thurs are unavailable nights for me but any other should be fine. I look forward to meeting some people with similar goals or mindsets.

Viper, do you come in town often? Looks like the dates you've proposed contradict DoubleThinkMoney.

Hopefully we can find a mutual time to get a small group gathering organized, even if we get into September, etc later on.

I responded in the Orlando thread a couple of months back... since that's where I live...

But I do head to Tampa/Clearwater for work a couple of times a month... never on the weekend though.

If y'all end up having a middle of the week meetup, hopefully I'll be in town :)

Everyone make it through the storm okay?  Anyone feel like meeting up at Ft. Desoto (or anywhere outdoorsy) early Oct?  I can bring a couple of kayaks and fishing poles.

I did! We were very fortunate and didn't even lose power. Ft. Desoto sounds awesome! Perhaps this Saturday or Sunday (10/7 or 10/8)? I have been really wanting to meet some fellow Mustachians.

I won't be available this weekend, unfortunately, but could do next Sat or Sun, Oct 14/15.  The weather may be a bit lousy this weekend anyways with Hurricane Nate sending stuff our way.

Welcome rtrnow. St. Pete would be a pretty good for me, I'm in the Oldsmar area. I'm open to meet up this weekend (Nov 4th or 5th). The weather is absolutely gorgeous these days. Perhaps an outside park meet up is in order.

Hey Rhoon, that's bummer of a drive. You sure you are ok to meet somewhere in the Tampa Bay Area? Does anyone have any suggestions. Breweries and parks and other casual venues are all in my wheelhouse!
