Hi All,

I am planning to create a mastermind group (In case you don’t know what it is, let me know and I can share some good material to give you a hang of it) for folks who became FIRE recently or about to be FIRE very soon!!

Please keep reading in case this mastermind group idea sounds enticing :-)

My background
I became FI on 6th June 2014 but continued my corporate full time job as I was waiting for my Green Card. Now that I have the GC, I have decided to launch my FI journey. To start with, I am going on a 5 months sabbatical from 1st June 2016 to get a feel of the FI life.

My wife (Koshika) is a homemaker and is currently looking after our 3 years old daughter (Pari).

Why I decided to create this mastermind group
As 1st June 2016 approaches, I have mixed feeling - Excited to relish the freedom but anxious as well thinking what will I do with all the free time !! As I try to figure out the plan for my 5 months sabbatical, I thought, why don’t I create a mastermind group of folks in similar boat and we all can help each other to carve out the future course of our life!!

What is the objective of the group
It will keep evolving and will be mostly driven by the participants. As of now, the intention is to bring like minded people together and help each other - Assist individuals to identify their next calling, brainstorm the new projects participants are about to start, team up to start new projects etc.

Who are right candidate for this mastermind group
 - Became FI recently and have left/about to leave the full time corporate job
 - Is in the exploration phase and trying to figure out what to do next in life
 - Age around 30 - 40 years (I thought participants of similar age will have better synergies)
 - I am also approaching one on one few bloggers like http://rootofgood.com/ , https://anonlawyer.wordpress.com/ , http://freedomwithbruno.com/ etc. Let's see, if they decide to join.

Other modalities of the group
Will start the group as soon as I get a confirmation from 5 participants
Regular meetings will be over phone/skype
Most likely the frequency of the meeting will be once or twice a week.
Time will be decided as per the group’s availability.

Just an update - FollowingLifesBreezes.com confirmed that she will be joining the mastermind group :-)
So 3 more confirmations and we will be set to kick off our mastermind group :-)

If you haven't filled all of your slots, I would love to participate!  I retired a year ago, and my post FI life has not been as I expected. It would be great to have others to collaborate with about the non-working phase of our lives.
