I can do this one! I propose McCallum Park, off Taylor St in Victoria Park. It's close to the Vic Park busport, and should have some parking for people driving. BYO picnic, Weekday event - Monday or Thursday?
Mon: 19 June, 26 June, 3 July
Thurs: 15 June, 22 June, 29 June, 6 July.

I'm free all those dates, not sure if morning, arvo or lunch is best?

I am free 3 July, and maybe 29 June (I am suppose to be going to the zoo with my sister but she always cancels things....)
OK, we'll be at McCallum Park on 3rd July from 2pm? Does that time work? Didn't want to be in the morning and end up in the sun.

Been meaning to reply, this works for me.

I'm planning to impose some experimental lactation baking (baked goods to promote lactation not human milk in the baked goods) on anyone that turns up on the 3rd of July. Should I be aware of any food allergies?

Nope, though I tend to view new foods suspiciously (food anxiety, I will probably nibble one until I deem it safe).

Hi folks, I'm thinking I will postpone the mushroom-tea. I'd really like to run it at some point but right now the mushies aren't mushing. Hopefully it's just that it's cold and not that I've done something horribly wrong.
I'll try again maybe around October.
Sorry!

Yea, I've driven through there, there's not that much. Maccas came to mind first, as did the casino, of the two, I think I would prefer to take Sir Ed to Maccas. At least them he can play in the kids playground and I can bribe him with icecream. *cough* I mean ply him with food. Hmm that doesn't sound much better. ;)

Thanks for getting back about the FB page, request to join has been sent.

If ever people feel like getting out of Perth for an excursion, you are most welcome in Mandurah, it's a very beautiful place. We can picnic by the estuary, we might see dolphins, or happy to host at home with a tour of our productive garden (all visitors get the tour!). Easy access via train. Perhaps when the weather is better.

Hey all, long time no see! I'm loving my new life in the outback and have just booked flights home to check on my house, the weekend 4-6 August. I would love to catch up with everyone again (and meet the new faces). I was thinking we could have a brunch on either Saturday the 5th or Sunday the 6th. I was thinking Food Monkey in Northbridge at 9.30am but open to other suggestions (especially baby inclusive suggestions as I would love to meet some of the mini moustaches if possible). Somewhere central-ish would be great as I won't have transport. Hope some people can make it.

Saturday is great! Food Monkey or Cranked would both work for me. Cranked is less likely to be okay with us sitting around for hours, but if the weather is good I think there are general use picnic benches and such in the park too.
