slightly off-topic... but my husband and I are thinking about moving to Idaho once we are FIRE in a couple years. We are geologists - and looking for a smaller bike friendly town with good schools (kids are 1 and 3 now). Close to hiking and fly-fishing. Any suggestions?

How small? Idaho schools are not great in general compared to the rest of the nation. Based on what you said, I would say ketchum/hailey/sun valley.

By small - I'd say 20,000-60,000 people. Schools - we are looking for ones that have decent student-teacher ratios, and at least average test scores. If we move to Idaho, we would be FIRE, so would have lots of time to help the kids with schoolwork.

Is there anyone in Idaho Falls?
Or would any of you Boise folks be willing to help me out?

We are travelling through Idaho Falls and Boise in the coming days.
We are in an RV full time.

Will be in Idaho Falls Mon-Wed (10-12) and Boise probably about a week or so later (17ish).
I am trying to get something shipped that I can pick up and am looking for suggestions for a shipping service or alternatively for someone who'd be willing to let us ship something to their address.
I'll buy you lunch in return if you could help out!
