Hike at Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday (11/25)

Tempted! Do you expect any lack of parking? I haven't done a lot of winter hiking, but since the weather has been fairly mild, it shouldn't be too snowy or icy, I imagine? On the Mt Si hike during camp mustache, I was the last one up, how fast do you like to hike ;)?

Hi kudy! Don't be shy! I may bring a kid and a friend may also be bringing his offspring, so the pace may be more turtle than hare. Of course, fast folks can just break out from the group. I'll be wearing my DeKalb corn cap for easy identification.

Oh, and parking has never been an issue in the past. If the lot fills up, there is parking on the shoulder. If you'd like to carpool with me out of Longmont, send me a PM.

Cool. Now I just need to figure out if I can make the timing work - it looks like it's about a 4 hour hike? I'm due to be in Lakewood mid to late afternoon on Friday. I think the thing starts officially at 3, but I could likely be late... will check back!
