Help! Calling any & all Bellingham mustaches
« on: September 07, 2014, 06:25:09 PM »
I am hoping this posting fits this forum the best, feel free to call me out if not!

The missus and I are contemplating a move to Bellingham to "retire". We will be FI in a year, a big part of getting to FI is selling our current house in Seattle, and unlocking the equity so that we can downshift. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and have just started looking at neighborhoods, schools, etc in Bellingham. What we would like to know is what specific neighborhood(s) do any of the Bellingham stache's live in? We are looking to at least be near a few like minded families. Thanks for any input!

There's quite a few Mustachians in Bellingham.  I'd suggest you reach out to them directly via PM (find them via a search) and ask. I've met a couple and they're awesome people.  :)
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

I must ask what does "PM" stand for?

We are looking in that general area to FIRE in about 3.5 years, so I'd love to hear from folks living there as well.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
