Snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park is wonderful in the winter. It's quiet and the crowds are sparse. There is also no entry fee from if you go from the Long's Peak Portal. Let me know if you'd like to join me and a friend this Saturday. If you'd like to carpool from Longmont, I have room for two more. If you don't have snowshoes, Costco has a nice set for $70.
