*Internet fist bump to the Lakewood-based NAEByrd85*
Alrighty Mustachians, I feel the urge to organize people again.
If we're going to be meeting up at a brewery or something indoors, August is a workable timeframe (the Saturdays are the 12th, 19th, and 26th). If we want to do anything outside, let's meet up at 8 am or save it for the fall when it isn't disgustingly hot (early October?)
Is there a good mid-cities brewery you'd recommend chasesfish (or anyone else)?
For the sake of planning, here's the places we've been or have been recommended -
Dallas and East - the center of the world according to anyone from Dallas:
Dallas: Margaret Hunt Bridge/Trinity Groves (walking around, some kid friendly options, semi-outdoor/indoor), Henk's/Half Price Books visit (German food, 75 and Hwy 12, pure indoor)
Garland: Intrinsic BBQ and Brewery (BBQ, indoor)
North - don't miss your exit or you end up in Oklahoma:
Richardson: Jeng Chi (Chinese food, indoor)
Mid-cities - somewhere in between and closer to the airport:
Grapevine: green space behind Keller Town Hall (outdoor biking/hiking), Northfield or McPherson Park (biking/hiking)
Fort Worth and West - better than Dallas according to anyone from Fort Worth
<needs suggestions>
Feel free to add to this list.
