www.portfoliocharts.com My Portfolio feature
« on: September 26, 2018, 08:18:52 AM »
I just discovered the Tyler's latest enhancement to his PortfolioCharts website: The My Portfolio feature.

Really worth experimenting with. In a nutshell, you can enter your asset allocation in one place and then see all the charts.

https://portfoliocharts.com/portfolio/my-portfolio/

I also think he's enhanced the charts...

Thank you Tyler. Good work!

:)

Yeah, based on the number of people who requested this over the years I figured it would be popular.  Enjoy!

Thanks for this feature, Tyler! Is it possible to save a portfolio on that page (e.g. have a permanent link to a set allocation)? Might be nice for revisiting convenience or sharing with others.

Not yet, but that's a good idea!  One step at a time.

Well that sent me down the rabbit hole of research, double-checking what categories all of our assets are in!

Question: we've got some international bond funds (VTIBX) in a couple of lifestrategy funds. Where do I put those?

LOL. But I need to be careful as I have fallen into that rabbit hole more than once myself...

I don't have an international bond fund option right now but I'm working on it.  In the meantime, intermediate bonds is the closest alternative if you're looking at general portfolio comparisons.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
