Where to move a coverdell esa?
« on: August 14, 2016, 09:51:54 AM »
So far I've moved about 70% of my investments to vanguard and away from a couple managed accounts.  I'm in the process of moving the rest from my current advisor that had me use American funds.  I know that I'll have no problems moving my Roth IRA, traditional IRA, and taxable account over but I also have a coverdell esa for my kids and vanguard doesn't offer any esa for me to be able to move it to.

Is there another option for me to move that esa to?

I use Charles Schwab and just buy VTI for them at reasonably low commissions once a year ($8.95) and reinvest dividends.  No other account fees.

Other than the fund itself which does have an expense ratio (.05 percent currently)

I use TDAmeritrade for my kids' Coverdell with no issues.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
