Title: Where do you find undervalued Canadian stocks?
Post by: dividendpig on October 27, 2016, 11:34:37 PM
Hi guys,

This is my first post but I have been lurking this forum for many months on an almost daily basis. 30 y.o . Currently have about $100k in the market, all in equities at the moment.

Just wondering what you guys use as a resource to find undervalued Canadian stocks? Any sites/blogs etc out there that you guys swear by? Im mostly a buy and hold type of investor but have recently made some timely moves and then sold to 'lock in gains' over a very short period of time. TRP, CP , ESI are a few of the names I bought into and saw at a minimum 20% gain on all three, selling them all for the gains and putting the excess cash into ETFs.

Thanks !

I once bought some stock in a weed company made a few hundred bucks sold it and bought into my allocated ETFs.

A lot of people will tell you "undervalued stocks" sounds a lot like market timing. Which, has been discussed at length and the conclusion is that no one can do it in a meaningful reliable fashion.
