Want to find out what investments you really have?!
« on: May 13, 2015, 09:12:07 AM »
While posting on another thread, I got to wondering if there was a tool out there that would automatically tell you what your asset allocation really entailed.

Ta-da!!

Input the Ticker and the $ amount you have and it gives you a pretty readout of where your money is invested.

Why can't you just look at your statements???

If you have multiple accounts spread among multiple providers, this gives an easy way to show the composition of your overall portfolio, weighting everything for you based on the amount invested.

I like it.

Very cool!   Lets you input combinations of stocks and ETFs (which is what I own)  and takes them apart and shows you what you have both by sector and asset type, then compares your percentages to the index (S&P 500)    Thanks.

Thanks.

Too often newbies post crazy AA scenarios. This is a simple tool that analyzes their portfolios for them.
