Hello all
I'm really trying to find some quality index funds or ETFs to buy in my registered RRSP account. I have read lot about Vanguard funds here and became interested in them, but In order to avoid tax complications, should I buy only the Canadian offerings? or because my focus is an RRSP registered account, I can go with US Vanguard like VTI, etc and be safe of tax withholdings...?
What is your advice for a balanced approach? is VAB + VCN + VXC a good combo? or a VCN + VFV + VIU + VEE?
I also found this couch potato plan VCN + XUS + XEF + XEC which includes I-shares...
I have learned a lot through this forum since a week ago just by reading the threads but have a long way to go to learn.....I have 15 years to retirement and will be investing average 10k-15k a year starting right now....already have a little bit invested in mutual funds and stocks...
