First off, i'd like to stay thank you for all the information and dedicated people here. I have been lurking for a while now.
I have built up some low cost index style ETFs (SPY,IWN,RWR,VEA) in my roth account and i'm wondering what the downside is converting them to Vanguard ETFs (VTI,VB,VNQ,VEA). I just shifted brokerages and i have some free trades to get to the Vanguard funds then, their ETFs will trade commission free.
I'm thinking that i only stand to lose a little bit in "slippage" but should regain that via lower operating costs and no commissions. I plan on selling and buying same day and not trying to time the market. With the AA being basically the same i don't think much will change.
What say you?
Thanks in advance,
