Just to note, this is the view you get when you're sliding down the ladder helplessly towards the ground.

It doesn't matter.  You're plummeting to the bottom one way or the other.  TOP IS IN!

Well, it depends on how you define the term.  I'm fairly certain the market is closed tomorrow.

ETA:  Whoops, no, it looks like it's open tomorrow, if AARP's website is to be trusted.

Patting myself on the back for selling at the top. That end-of day drop started right after I cashed out some VTI.

Of course that's not why I did it...need some retiree spending cash for frivolities like housing, food, and utilities, so why not do it when the top is in?

This brings up a good point; if every time you sell the top is in as a matter of principle but you are retired and have to sell at regular intervals, does that mean that the top is in every few months/year when you sell or possibly that this entire thread is a lie and the top is never in.......?

The top is always in a day or two before a scheduled withdrawal. That's is why you should always sell as early as possible at any sign of a downward trajectory. The top is sneaky, wily, and hiding around every deviation from a linear trajectory.

In that case, the trend over the last 30 minutes confirms that the top was in, never to return.

Stretch marks really don't have to be horrifying. You might be surprised to know how many people have them, in particular, women who have been pregnant. I wish more people knew that they are pretty standard and not at all gross. I was actually kind of sad that my stretch marks from pregnancy ended up being nearly invisible, to me they represent major life change (loss of weight or birth). Not dissimilar to a tattoo.

My wife somehow managed to avoid them entirely while pregnant . . . and she's a petite woman who gave birth to a monster sized baby.  Must have good genetics or something (or maybe it was all the lotion she kept rubbing on her belly).  Weird.

Nope . . . and I grew a foot in the summer between grade 7 and grade 8 (bouncing off of walls, falling down stairs, and the whole nine yards).  But I've also got extremely oily skin.  Even with all the covid hand washing/ in the winter my hands never get sore/crack.

I'm not daft enough to call the top-top, but tech has been struggling badly and was the one noticeable unchecked tickbox in the recent rally.

A lot of tech funds have been smashed despite the overall market reaching new highs.

Could be a sign that the winds of change are blowing through the markets.

Personally I've taken a little bit off the table and raised a bit of cash.

I'm daft enough, let's give this a try...

CAPE above 40, inflation running high, Fed adding rate increases, Omicron may not be last variant, and markets are acting like the bull market will never end.... so, top is in for growth stocks.
