Nothing in 2020 makes any damn sense anymore.  There's live hockey on the television (but only from Canada), and apparently the top is in.  Again.

The COVID top shark is circling in the water, smells blood!

Top Shark facts is in!

We are on top of the shark because 2020 has jumped the shark... Not even shark week makes sense.

The top shark of all time is the Meg. But Jason Statham can still be awesome and punch it in the nose to save the day.

Question:  since shark top is in, does that mean that we (and our portfolios) are chum?

Question:  since shark top is in, does that mean that we (and our portfolios) are chum?

I think that conclusion is a bit fishy.  Whether Q3 takes a bit out of your portfolio depends on how big a net of stocks you own, and what your long-term porpoise is. The seas might be rough for a while, and its calmer if you just stay down in the trenches.  Donít get salty and remember that the patient investor is the biggest fish in the sea.

You can make a tuna money in the market if you do it right.    Fish stock's the best, better than beef or poultry stocks.

On the other hand, because local tradesmen don't wear masks, I've haddock with renovating houses for the moment.

Yep.  It's been nice.  It'll probably rotate back in the next couple of years.  But in the mean time I've been extricating myself from US markets and the USD.

FWIW, I just got done rebalancing. Was surprised at how much international ran ahead of domestic stocks during the last quarter.

Yep.  It's been nice.  It'll probably rotate back in the next couple of years.  But in the mean time I've been extricating myself from US markets and the USD.

ETA: International top is IN!

It's kind of predictable given that the other countries with a decent market cap have been more serious about controlling COVID-19.

VTWAX has been busy doing the extricating for me.

SP 500 and NASDAQ topping right now!  DOW is keeping every one from a THREE RING TOP .    The CIRCUS Top is not in, however, we may be heading for the Clown Show top...but I doubt it.

Don't be rattled, but I have a snakey suspicion where this could go...

I'm pretty sure thorstache ghost wrote This article. It provides a graph driven way to time the market and know when to sell your positions.

Also, it will apparently tell you when your portfolio has dandruff.
