I'm going to need to see some lines and scribbles on a chart before I know what to think. And also I'm going to need to hear from some billionaires and fund managers, who always seem to have an inordinate amount of time to chat with the sober and serious business reporters from the cable news networks.

So one of the Excel gurus around here needs to make a tenth of a point drop look like a fire sale and a 5 point increase look like a flat line - on the same graph. And go!

I know we had the GOAT MOAT (Greatest Of All Time Mother Of All Tops), so I wonder if we will have a GOAT FLOAT (Greatest of All Time Father-in-Law Of All Tops) at some.

Wait, so is THAT what they call a bond tent?

Looks more like a float than a tent, but what do I know? Tent TOP is in.

I'm feeling scared.

TIME TO GO ALL CASH.

amidoinitrite? Actually I think I forgot to rebalance this year. Normally do that on my bday...

Also I'm amused this thread is the only way I learn about what the market does.

Going all cash isn't commitment to a top prediction.  Commitment is when you go ALL PENNY CANDY.  This is the best bang for your buck in the dystopian future where the only currency is the number of calories you have at the end of the day . . . that will certainly come about after THE ALMIGHTY TOP has been reached.

Oh! That movie is incredible.

They knew the top was in before anyone else did, and they got out before the music stopped.

But, if the top was in back then, how is the top in now? I’ve never thought about that before. Maybe the movie is from the future, and it is about what is happening right now. Yeah, that isn’t definitely what is happening.

Uh yeah, Top has been in since April 11, 2017.  I’m assuming anyways, haven’t checked, just waiting for an official Bottom is In call from our fearless leader.

Goddamn it. I just can't seem to get to two-comma assets. After my "power move" to re-leverage the house last month, we were sitting on $995K in assets. But then a credit card payment processed, and I won't get another paycheck until 11/30 or 12/1. Now the TOP IS IN again and we haven't hit ONE MILLION DOLLARS in assets yet, and we may never get there because the TOP IS IN.

Don't worry, the 11-18 top was short lived and apparently ended this morning. As I write this the S&P is up 0.07% today. Believe it or not, there's a NEW top!!!

You could have ONE MILLION DOLLARS fairly easily of they're Liberian dollars.

And I didn't so I dishonored myself, hence the harakiri.  I should have seen it coming, I've known the top was in for at least 2 years at this point.

I hereby predict, boldy and with great conviction, that yesterday was a top that will last a minimum of one full trading day.

The market has less than an hour to prove me wrong. If any CNBC or Yahoo Finance journalists want to interview me as a market expert, I have a garden-variety of predictions for the next 24 hours of trading. Just shoot me a DM.
