I've always gone by fingers rather than shots while mixing drinks. Then you choose a wider or narrower glass depending on how badly you need the drink. :P

This is not true. Weird covers so much territory that there's plenty of space for everybody to be really weird relative to every other person's really weird.

Well that depends how big your portfolio is, Top could be in, and value dropping slightly every day, but if you had a billion dollars invested, you could probably still pull 5-25k per day in dividends alone

Sometimes we get in sort of an upside down situation. The Fed is threatening to taper (which is maybe why Powell's re-nomination is in question), which will raise interest rates, slow down the economy, and possibly induce a minor recession.

Apple and Amazon's results could mean that things aren't as great as the Fed thought, so they won't have to taper as soon as people thought (this month). Thus the low interest rate party continues.

I was trying not to be serious in this thread. But, not just that there is also the GDP report that came out yesterday. You will see weak GDP numbers boost stock prices sometimes because of interest rates and QE policy.
