I’ve been looking at the SP 500 every day, but it refuses to go over 4000! I’m very frustrated and I’m getting impatient. What’s wrong?

Top is in! S&P won't go any higher. It won't reach 4000 because illuminati, trilateral commission, Fed Reserve, contrails, fake moon landing. This is not a drill!

Maybe it is over 4000, but the chemtrails make us think it isn’t? The top could be even higher than any of us know! That means the crash will be even worse!

Now I’m really freaking out.

Top is in!

We're on our third major snow dump in two weeks. I think the lamb might be loosing this one. To be fair that saying has always seemed off by a month up here. It's dangerous when the lion is still around in May and then everything melts in a weekend!

You can't bust in here declaring the top to be in without any satirical or sarcastic commentary. The top was clearly not in when you said this, but now...now the top is in.

So, can April Fools Day extend to the 5th?

Maybe the "top is in" was actually a reference to the top being trapped somewhere.  Maybe thorstache was telling us to find the top and set it free.  #letthetopout

Oh yeah, my bad... My magic ball must not have updated yet.

In all seriousness, I think we could see this stupid run up continue throughout the year... I mean, I love buying the dips up, but the market strength doesn't seem to be tampering down anytime soon.  Glad I was throwing money into the free falling market 1 year ago lol

Are you sure the magic ball isn't talking about the Dow?  Dow 4500 seems more likely with the top being in.

20 years managing IT/telecom teams and I entered my first Putty commands this week.
Does anyone actually need PuTTY anymore? Windows comes with ssh, scp, and sftp built in now.

Is Windows still a thing? Hasn't been allowed in the house since Win2k.

I've told numerous people that I feel super petty wanting to only work on MacOS/Linux ever again and that I'd probably turn down jobs which require windows.

It's petty.

Got an email from a recruiter wanting me for a job using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

There literally isn't enough money to get me to want to work with that product for another year.   For a hundred million US dollars I could stomach it for a month, maybe.  But not if I didn't have to work the entire month to get paid for what I did work.

It's amazing to me how important that type of thing has become.

I worked at a place with slack, then a place with a way worse tool than even teams... it was so painful. like... legit so painful I practically would consider slack a mandatory requirement for jobs too hahaha.

I will say that escape velocity would introduce a paradox to the "Top is In" universe.
That may be the cleverest thing I've ever read on this board.

Once you escape and get out away from any large gravitational body, some people would say the top is completely relative.  There isn't anything by which to orient yourself.  However, in the distant cold dark void of space there is only One True Frame of Reference, and that is the one for which the top is in.

Am I the only one that's noticed that the market seems to have launched itself into orbit at this point?

It seems like printing money might have consequences.

Top is in

Yes, big consequences like setting absolute lunatics lose on the poor forum-goers of the internet, purely a general statement of course.
