Hey all,
Besides Mint, Personal Capital, and your respective brokerage's performance graphs, are there other tools out there that you can "plug-in" numbers and get a better idea of your portfolio performance (mostly just looking for the annual rate of return year over year since inception [if possible] more than anything)? I realize this probably isn't that easy because there are factors like if you make regular auto-deposits/auto-investments into the account which impacts # of shares you have for a fund, etc.
Was just curious if there's something 'simple' like this out there though or if it already exists in any of the given sites I mentioned and I'm just missing something. My investment/401k/IRA accounts are at Fidelity btw.
I was fine with Personal Capital until they screwed my Fidelity connection over and the only way I found to fix it was to completely remove the account and re-add. This basically skewed everything and I lost all my historical data earlier this year. I had opened an account with them and linked Fidelity back in like 2014.
EDIT: looks like you can do this in Google Portfolio (
https://finance.google.com/finance/portfolio) but this just seems really tedious... there's also a note saying the portfolio feature won't be available after mid-November?! The importing of transactions may work but I don't know of a reliable way to get the info out of Fidelity (the CSV data stinks) and especially more than 90 days at a time more easily.
