Tax help/books?
« on: May 08, 2013, 07:07:21 AM »
Are there any websites or preferably some book recommendations on taxes? I would like to learns the ins and outs of taxes and how to make sure that I'm doing all I can to get taxed fairly.

I'm assuming there is some stuff in Boglehead's website, but I'd like to start off with more basic stuff as I've only started to invest. Thanks!

Go to the IRS website and read about things. It's often dense, but if you take it slow it's a tremendous resource. e.g., the 401(k) article. If you get in a really tax-nerd mood, you can even spend some time following links from article to article, Wikipedia-style.
