Starting today!

Hello fellow Mustaschians!

Today is an exciting day for me. At least I think it will be.... I am going to take the plunge and start up my first Roth IRA! I just had one last question before I make my move...

Seems like the stock market is at an all time high right now which leads me to believe that it will dip or plummet soon. Should I wait for that to happen? Or should I just get into the Roth right now with all the index funds at their 52 week high?

I'll answer that with a question, are you smarter than the people on Wall Street who have millions at risk and huge market experience and information? :)

I'll agree it's temping to wait for a drop, but it could just as easily keep climbing and never drop below today's value. Congrats on starting the Roth!

That's pretty much what I was thinking too. I just needed to hear someone else say to make sure :)
