Financial Planning Software Suggestions (Canada)
« on: December 17, 2015, 11:02:21 AM »
Hello,

I have done some poking around in the forums looking to see if this has been posted already but without any luck. I wanted to ask the group if anyone is aware of a good personal financial planner software that works well for Canadians. I have been using Mint for a while now with some success but I find the budgeting tools sort of lacking and in revising my financial plan I wondered if there were any recommendations for good financial planning software even stuff that some professionals may use would be good. I have made a couple attempts with Quicken but I dont think it did a very good job. I have come across a couple but they are pretty pricey but if anyone has any good recommendations I would love to hear about it.

Thanks,

P.

Same recommendation I made in the other thread: MS Money. You can switch the currency to CAD.

All of the Canadian banks have provisions to download statements in MS Money-compatible .OFX format. Any that don't: MS Money will open Quicken .QFX files.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
