My crystal ball is telling me that it was the 29th. Maybe I should get mine checked?

What do you mean!?  Don't you know everything on the internet is true!?  Of course it's valid!  (Falls on floor laughing because I can't keep a straight face anymore).

Great timing for my end of month ETF investing should be getting a deal by the end of the month.

If not just going ahead and buy anyways following the plan.

Good, I was planning on pulling out the 25th since my crystal ball told me to do so on a Monday.

Right, and not just sell everything, but also use that money to short a 3x leveraged index.
And don't just use your own money, but upgrade to a tier 3 margin account so that you can make leveraged non-secured trades to purchase FOTM Puts to expire in a week.
Deal of a lifetime.
Nothing can go wrong, I guarantee it! (c)

My magic 8-ball says "ask again later" (probably on the 27th).

I haven't gotten through the whole thread yet, but this is my favorite response from the original poster so far:

"All the shemitah is is a cycle, we are all governed by them, and this is just one of them. There are others mentioned in the bible, namely the 666 or beast cycle."

It's like one of those 'Billionaire warns of dire finanical crisis' ads you see at the bottom of click bait sites but in reddit post form.
