Title: Safe Liquid Investments
Post by: detroital on June 12, 2013, 03:55:58 PM
I have around $100K just sitting in the bank.  Just a few years ago, one could buy CDs with the mature points at differing increments and not tie up too much money for too long.  What does the MMM community recommend for a safe, for sure, fairly liquid way to get the most out of this money?

It really depends upon how soon you are going to need the money; if your answer is two years or less, an online high yield savings account is probably you only safe option; thus, there is no where that you put that money right now and get a decent yield, have liquidity, and low risk all at the same time.
