I just accepted a job offer and got a summary of benefits. They have a Thrift Incentive Plan (TIP), and I'm confused. I understand traditional and Roth 401k and IRAs. This thing, not so much. Never heard of it before. Googling isn't helping much, mostly turning up military/governmental.
It's a bank headquartered in the US, not a public company.
