Roth 401K, IRA, etc.
« on: October 15, 2020, 09:44:55 AM »
Currently, I max out my standard 401K and my Roth IRA.  I know I don't qualify to contribute to a traditional IRA; however, can anyone tell me if it's possible in this scenario to contribute to a Roth 401K?

Not really.

Ask your HR department as the ability purely depends on your employer.

No. The contribution limit applies to all of your combined 401k accounts. If you're already maxing one, you can't contribute to the other.

If you have multiple 401(k) accounts, your total contributions to all of them—both traditional and Roth—cannot exceed that $19,500 limit.
