Quick question on dual vanguard accounts
« on: December 25, 2016, 01:27:50 PM »
Is there a way to have two vanguard brokerage accounts for one person? I have reasons for
Wanting to keep some money separate from my existing account.

If so, how can I go about doing this?

Um... yes? It really is like saying "can I have more than one checking account or savings account?" someplace. Of course you can.

You just open a second, or third or 20th account with them and specify that account number when you transfer funds.

The only restriction would be workplace sponsored accounts or such. But a simple brokerage account, sure.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
