Hey guys,
I am beginning to trade ETF's on Questrade and been previously told there were no fees to buy ETF's, only when you'd sell, but seems like there's a commission to pay (0.0035$ CAD / share). Is this normal? I am doing something wrong?
Thanks

It's not commission, they're mandatory exchange fees and OSC fees. Everyone has to pay those and normally they would be charged in addition to brokerage commissions as well.

Yes, I contacted Questrade on that matter and they are effectively ECN fees. I can live with 0.0035$/share fee.
