Portfolio rebalancing calculator
« on: April 05, 2023, 06:21:21 PM »
I'm looking for feedback on an account rebalancing calculator that I made. I struggled to find a rebalancing calculator that suited my needs and finally made one myself.

The calculator has a few features:
1. Does not allow selling in taxable accounts to avoid capital gains tax.
2. Allows you to specify if you only want to buy REIT funds in tax advantaged accounts.
3. Up to 4 non-tax advantaged and 8 tax advantaged accounts.
4. Free
5. No detailed account information required (no electronic linking required)

Here is the link: https://www.lootlasso.com
Thanks

I've added a new feature that some may find helpful: ability to  "Lock an account value" in tax advantaged accounts. This can be helpful for 2 reasons:
1. If you are holding a specific investment type in a particular account. For example, some advocate for placing growth allocations in Roth IRA.
2. You do not want to buy/sell in all of your accounts but would still like all of your allocations accounted for.

Improved some of the formatting.

Any additional feedback/desired features are welcome.

FYI - I can't tell you anything more specific, but your website is blocked by my work network.

That's interesting, not sure why. The homepage is a standard squarespace page.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
