I can't understand what's happening

Help! I recently opened a Vanguard account and invested about 11.5k in a 3 fund portfolio. I went with the following funds: VTSMX, VGTSX, and VTSMX. So esstenridlly a total US stock, total Intl stock, and total US bond.

I can't understand why under portfolio analysis it says I have short term reserves that make up 50% of my portfolio. I was trying to complete a 80/20 allocation of stocks to bonds, with the majority of the stocks being US (At least 65%).

I feel stupid even asking this question because it may be so obvious and I'm just missing something.

Ok so oddly enough about an hour after writing the OP, now my portfolio says that I have a 73.8 Stocks to 26.2 bonds split.

I guess this forum has a power in itself to magically solve problems.

You may also want to check out the Balanced Funds, which do this allocation automatically

Vanguard balanced funds do offer some good choices for many split portfolios. I'm in the Wellington fund, albeit Wellington is about 60/40.  I make up the remainder of my 80/20 split using my TSP account.   You can't beat the ease or peace of mind of a good balanced fund.

I picked the three funds I mentioned because it was recommended by Taylor Larimore off the Bogleheads website.  I wanted a diversified portfolio for the long haul.  I am considering making a few alterations, but for the most part I'll likely stick with these three funds and see how it goes.

They recently updated their website and it was causing some glitches, I had to contact them earlier in the week because my asset allocation and returns were beyond screwed up according to their charts.  A little clicky clicky on their end and everything is fine now.
