Only $1000 in HSA...what would you do?
« on: February 06, 2018, 03:48:38 PM »
Recently opened an HSA. I can't buy VTSMX, as the minimum purchase is $3000. Any recommendations?

More info needed. What funds are available? What are the custodian's fees and/or requirements to invest? What investments do you have in other accounts?

Keep contributing...?  individuals can contribute $3,450 in 2018 (families $6,900).  Hopefully you are in a position where you can save $3,000 in ~6 months.  If not, take a close look at why and consider doing a full case study.
