Title: No, VASGX (LifeStrategy Growth) did not fall 99.97% yesterday
Post by: hubcity on September 08, 2018, 08:01:22 AM
If you rely on Google financial quotes to update your spreadsheets, you should know that the quote for Vanguard LifeStrategy Growth (VASGX) is currently wrong  (9:54am EDT Sept 8).  According to Google VASGX (https://www.google.com/search?q=MUTF:VASGX) was down 99.97% yesterday.  That is incorrect.

The VASGX page at Vanguard (https://investor.vanguard.com/mutual-funds/profile/VASGX) says that it was down 0.26%.

I got kind of a shock when looking at my updated networth this morning.

Not sure if it will help, but I used the "feedback" link at the bottom of the search page for "VASGX" and pointed out the $0.01 / share price (-99.97%) was incorrect.  But I think it would take a lot of luck to have anyone fix that quickly.  Hopefully Monday's data corrects it (with a +340,000% rise in price?)

My use of Google to follow investments tanked about as sharply as these reported mutual fund prices after Google went to its new quote system.
