Fundrise eREIT - Thoughts?
« on: January 09, 2017, 12:06:11 PM »

I am thinking of putting some of my portfolio into a REIT as a diversification move.

Fundrise ( caught my attention last year and I have been considering it.  Like many of the newer investment companies, they are promoting lower fees and more efficiency.

Does anyone have experience with this company?  Or comments on REITs in general?

Edit: This is long-term money.  I understand that REITs are not very liquid.

Note: I searched for "Fundrise" on the forum and got no hits.  I also searched for "REIT" but that returned a database error.

I'm using it right now but only have money invested for a few months so it's too early to tell how it will perform.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
