Investing as a Belgian resident
« on: December 18, 2016, 11:46:18 AM »
This is both for short term parking and normal long term investing.

I'm aware of the US model where one can use a Momeymarket account for the short term and various forms of mutual funds for long term investing.

Here in Belgium it not very clear what one can do, if I ask a bank, they of course want to sell me the "Crap du Jour" that marketing manager kludged together...
Even my wife, who works in a commercial bank, is unsure what to do.

If anybody has any pointer for this fair land, I would most appriciate!

Sorry I can't help but I know there are some Belgians on here from time to time.
I think one of them is the guy in Bruxelles who has this blog:  https://www.nomorewaffles.com/

You might ask him via his blog.

Cheers.
