Net spend the party's over
« on: June 01, 2016, 07:47:26 PM »
I just set-up my net spend account and received a notice of policy change effective July 1st.   Net spend savings apr of 5% has been reduced to 1000 or less

While, off topic, I get the sentiment. Losing 5% of 4k a year (not compounding) is only $200. Even then, it won't cost you $200 a year... you will simply move that 4k to something else... VTSAX returns 2% in dividends every year anyway. (Bonds, even more so)

I think a lot of people (myself included) used NetSpend as a profitable place to park their emergency funds, not as an alternative to investing in stocks.
