Need help with HSA investment!
« on: October 18, 2014, 08:15:33 AM »
The investment portion of my HSA is through TD Ameritrade.  I've never invested outside of Vanguard and I need some help picking a bond fund.  Vanguard is not included in their no fee mutual funds.  Can someone help me with a ticker symbol of a total bond fund from the list of TD Ameritrade no fee funds?  There's thousands to sort through on their site.

Thanks for any help!

http://research.tdameritrade.com/grid/public/etfs/commissionfree/commissionfree.asp

Click the all funds tab, then sort by Fund name. Enjoy.

Hint: There are lots of commission free ETFs (including Vanguard) at TD Ameritrade.

Why a bond fund?

To match my 80/20 AA.

Thanks for the link!  I stumbled onto a much more complicated page before.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
