...so I splurged and bought $5000 more VTSAX (beyond my already planned weekly investing).

Ironically if I did sell my car I would get double the price I bought it at right now. It’s over 20 years old and I bought it a few years ago for $2500. You remind me that a few weeks ago I was thinking of getting a new bike but my trusty bike is doing pretty well.
