The vesting schedule is end of January and end of July each year. They're ending the program end of Jan 2016 but I'm leaving the company end of December. Looks like I have an option to stop all further contributions and get the cash disbursed back to me... Should I do that? Im not quite certain what happens to the amount I've contributed towards unvested shares if I leave before they're vested....

Vesting usually refers to the employer portion, not your cash portion.
e.g., the employer matches at 20%, and it is vested twice a year...

If you withdraw early, you don't get the company portion, just your own contributions.

So at the end of the day it doesn't really matter if I just wait until I officially quit (and get whatever I've contributed back) vs stopping my contributions now and getting the contributions back sooner, right? I guess with one or two paychecks left it's not really a big deal either way.
