I have my HSA there, so am mostly stuck because there are not a lot of great options.

Anyway, I switched out

VTI -> SPTM
BND -> SPAG
VEU -> SPDW
VSS -> No good replacement

Added

SPEM (Emerging Markets)

Did you mean BND -> SPAB ?

What the heck is up with the SPTM bid-ask spread? $36 ask when the price is $34.12? Isn't that like a 5.5% front load, or am I completely misunderstanding bid/ask? VTI attached for comparison.

Were those numbers pulled after close? If so they are pretty meaningless. During trading hours, the spread is typically $0.01 or $0.02.

Yes, I think so. Why is it so different?

I’m not sure. May be the result of very low volume after-hours trading. Highlights the importance of not doing that.

More importantly, the spread is small during normal trading hours so no worries about using SPTM as a commission free substitute.

Update: TD Ameritrade just added more, the list contains more than 550 commission-free ETFs, but sadly Vanguard still does not appear.

You may need to be logged in to view it:

For my HSA investments, I'm sticking with SPEM, SPDW, SPLG, SPMD, SPSM, which track the indices I want at very low expense ratios.
