My husband has $208k in a 401b account with TIAA Cref. what is the best way to maximize this savings over the next 4 years? He's over 59.5.

Quit, roll it all into an IRA, and invest in the single stock that will perform best over the next 4 years.  Unfortunately, nobody knows what stock that is.  Ok, seriously now....

smalo1, welcome to the forum.  We can give you answers more helpful than the tongue-in-cheek one above, but you'll have to help us with a few more details.  See http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/ask-a-mustachian/how-to-write-a-'case-study'-topic/ (alternatively, https://www.bogleheads.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6211).

Good luck!
