low ER Vanguard funds suggestion for Trowe funds
« on: November 06, 2018, 02:40:22 PM »
I had my employer 401k into  below Trowe Price funds  with their ER:

Equity Index 500- PREIX- 0.22%
Growth Stock-PRGFX-   0.67%
High Yield-   PRHYX-0.75%
Mid-Cap Growth -RPMGX-0.76%
Spectrum Int -PSILX-0.91%

I realize these funds have high expense ratios and I am looking for similar funds in  low expense ratios at other places such as vanguard or fidelity.

Please let me know if  you have any input for this.

You might try Compare ETFs, Index Funds, etc.

Note that Vanguard's admiral class (usually $10K minimum) will have lower fees than the investor class that link provides.  Knowing the Vanguard investor class fund name, you can find the admiral class name and cost on the Vanguard site.

PREIX with a 0.22% expense ratio looks reasonable to me.  In your situation, I'd invest all of my 401(k) in that fund, and use non-401(k) funds to invest internationally.

Can you invest in a Traditional or Roth IRA?
