looking for a stock guessing game
« on: September 21, 2022, 05:33:25 PM »
hello,

I remember a website game being shared around here awhile back that allowed users to get perspective on how hard it was to see where you are in a cycle.

It would show you a stock market chart that started at a random period of time (it didn't tell you when). Then it would progress through the years and show you how much money you have made or lost up till then. When you click a big "sell" button it would continue going through the years to see if you predicted the right time to sell or if you lost a bunch of money by selling at the bottom.

Does anyone know where I can find this game?

Thanks for bringing it up, Lots of fun. Somehow randomly buying/selling netted me +100k but trying to time the top/bottom lost me 50k...

That's a cool tool, I didn't know something like this existed. I would be pretty successful were I to trade during the time period set by the game :D
