John Bogle (Vanguard Founder) on the NYTimes Frontpage
« on: August 12, 2012, 10:04:55 AM »
Hey everybody,

I was sipping my coffee this morning and came across a great article on the New York Times frontpage about John Bogle, who is the founder of vanguard, and his investment philosophy. It's a really interesting look at his life, the financial industry today, and general mustachian badassity. I know a lot of you have money with Vanguard or are into investing in mutual funds, so check it out if you'd like:

I liked the article quite a bit as well. The bit about his arthritis-gnarled statue was especially memorable.

He should be given a medal. What an inspirational individual.

I really, really hope Vanguard can maintain it's philosophy long into the future. I fear the greedy bastards on wall street will try to corrupt them...

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
