Can anyone help me find out if there are vanguard-type investment options in Italy. I've been reading MMM for a while now and Im finally debt-free and would like to start investing. I read about this wonderful vanguard accounts and I was wondering if there is anything similar to vanguard/fidelity here in Italy.

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Can you open a Vanguard account from Italy? I'm not sure how Europeans invest in Vanguard, but I think that something is possible.

In many places, you just choose Vanguard ETFs or mutual funds; they don't act as broker. That has changed in the UK recently, I believe.

OP, you probably want an account with a discount brokerage - somewhere that allows you to buy ETFs (which are traded like stocks), and then pick up Vanguard ETFs that are sold in Euros. Try https://global.vanguard.com/portal/site/kiids/it/en/documents

Start with

and its sister page

I have also heard that many European investors like to domicile their assets at Interactive Brokers.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
