Investment limitations for Accredited investors?

Hello all,

I need some clarification on the SEC rules for Accredited investors.  For those interested in investing in startups using Regulation CF (Crowdfunding) which does not require a person to be accredited, there are limitations of a maximum of 10% of the lesser of income or net worth.  Is the same true for Accredited investors? 

Scenario - Person has $200K income and $800K net worth and is officially accredited.  What is the maximum amount that this person can invest in Reg D. investments in a year?

I am unaware of any limitation.

Accredited investor is usually something you have to attest to as the investor.  Investors tend to be the ones suing, so if you tried to file a suit saying it was not a suitable investment, the other party pulls out your accredited investor statement.
