Investing Advice Needed
« on: March 28, 2016, 03:12:10 PM »
Hi, I am single 48F and self-employed with income 56-60K a year which I hope to increase.  I have a 65K mortgage on a condo which will be paid off in 13 years. I have an 100K Annuity which matures in Nov 2016. I have maxed and set up two IRA: SEP $5K and Roth $11K with Vanguard this month (Mar 2016) .  I have not purchased any shares yet.  I checked out Vanguard Target retirement funds 2035 VTTHX. Is this a good place to invest the IRA's? Also where is the best place to invest the Annuity when it matures in Nov 2016?   All comments are welcomed! Thanks to all who respond!

Read the Stock Series on Jim Collins' web site.

That will give you plenty of ideas to think about:

To answer your question, yes, Vanguards target date funds are solid.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
