If BlackRock is really receiving encouragement from Democrats to do more, and criticism from Republicans to do less... could it create an anti-environmental fund?  That "balance" on the issue would annoy both parties, but partially neutralize the issue of having large ESG funds.  But I suppose in their position as activists for ESG funds, maybe they can't wear both hats.
