Title: How Would You Allocate Your 401K Funds With The Following Choices?
Post by: RookieStache on October 24, 2018, 09:14:32 AM
Created a post on this earlier but found out some additional information.
My company just switched to Trans America, I have attached the choices that are available to invest in.

30 years old, what would your allocation look like for my employee 401K?

Out of those, at 30, I would go 100% Russell 1000 for myself. Low expense ratio and tracking an index. Not much data on Russell 2500 yet, but could be useful to add as well in order to get broader exposure.

FYI, they defaulted everyone into the Target Date Fund per the employees "expected retirement date". So I am currently 100% in the 2060 fund. Plan on moving everything tomorrow, wanted to get the insight of you great people first to see if it matches my thought process.
