Hadn't seen this posted yet, but the search function typically doesn't work for me so if it's a dupe sorry!

Looks like NFCU is offering a 3% up to 10k 15 month CD as of May 1st, looks like there are a couple of stipulations, mainly you have to have DFAS direct deposit or DFAS allotment.

1Limit one Military Appreciation Certificate per member. This offer, including the stated Annual Percentage Yield (APY), is effective May 1, 2016. Navy Federal reserves the right to end or modify this offer at any time. Penalty for early withdrawal. The Military Appreciation Certificate has a $25 minimum balance and a $10,000 maximum balance. Additional deposits are allowed at any time subject to the maximum balance. Certificate owner(s) age 18 and older must have Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Direct Deposit of Net Pay or DFAS Allotment within 90 days of the certificate issue date. If these requirements have not been satisfied by the 90th day, your Military Appreciation Certificate dividend rate will be reduced to the prevailing dividend rate of a standard EasyStart Certificate for the remainder of the certificate's term. Members who set up a recurring transfer at the time of purchase for at least $10 per recurring transfer for at least the first three months the certificate is open are eligible to receive a $10 bonus. The bonus will be paid directly into the Military Appreciation Certificate as a dividend no later than September 30, 2016 if all requirements are met. Limit one $10 transfer bonus per member. Other restrictions may apply

Edited title to reflect second deal

Well it beats leaving it in the savings account at a much reduced rate.  I miss the good ol' days of ING with a 4% rate on their savings account...

Yea, I agree for just the ER fund.   I'm going to edit the title.  Looks like Andrews Federal is also offering a 6 month 3.25% 15k max one if opened this month as well
